Ignis ("the app") is an intermittent fasting tracker for iOS. Your fasting sessions, schedules, streak and history data, and preferences are stored on your device using SwiftData and UserDefaults. There are no user accounts, no cloud storage for fasting data, and no separate app analytics. If you choose to send a bug report, the email can include limited diagnostic information described below.
Ignis is developed and operated by TheChosenVictor LLC ("we," "us," "our"). Victor Solano owns TheChosenVictor LLC.
Ignis is a tracking tool for personal use. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or health advice. The fasting stages it displays are general wellness information, not a diagnosis or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare professional before starting any fasting program.
Ignis stores the following data entirely on your device. None of this data is uploaded, transmitted, or accessible to anyone other than you.
Each fast includes its start time, target duration, selected protocol (such as 16:8 or OMAD), completion status, and timestamps. Sessions are stored in an on-device database (SwiftData) within the app's sandboxed container.
Your streak count and the history of completed and ended fasts are derived from your sessions and stored in the same on-device database so you can review progress over time.
Settings such as your default protocol, reminder times, notification preferences, theme, onboarding state, and purchase status are stored in UserDefaults on your device.
So that the home-screen widget and the Lock Screen Live Activity can show your current fast, the active session's basic details (start time and target duration) are shared with those extensions through a private App Group container on your device. This data never leaves your device.
Ignis does not upload your fasting sessions, schedules, history, or app preferences to the cloud. There is no user account system, fasting-data sync, app-owned telemetry, or app-owned crash reporting. Your fasting data exists only on your device. The public website support form uses the separate support path described below.
Ignis does not read from or write to Apple Health (HealthKit) in this version. It does not access your health, fitness, weight, nutrition, or workout data.
Ignis does not show ads. It does not include any third-party advertising SDK, analytics SDK, consent SDK, or App Tracking Transparency prompt.
Your fasting sessions, schedules, and history stay on your device and are never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for cross-app tracking.
Ignis can send local notifications to remind you when a fast is starting, ending, or reaching a milestone. These notifications are scheduled entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to any server. You can disable reminders at any time in the app's settings or in iOS Settings.
Purchases are handled by Apple via StoreKit. Ignis does not process payment cards or billing credentials directly. Purchase validation happens on-device. No receipts are sent to external servers.
If you use the in-app bug-report option, Ignis prepares an email to support. You decide what to write and whether to send it. The prepared report includes the Ignis app version and your operating-system version. Your mail app may also include your email address.
Ignis does not attach fasting sessions, schedules, streaks, history, or health data. The App Store privacy label classifies the app and operating-system versions as Other Diagnostic Data, linked to you only for App Functionality and not used for tracking.
If you use the public website support form, we receive the app name, category, message, submission source, timestamp, and a one-way hash of your IP address. Your email address and device information are optional. The raw IP address is processed in memory for rate limiting and is not stored in the feedback record. The submission is stored in our support database and routed through Resend to the relevant support inbox. It does not include fasting sessions, schedules, or history unless you choose to type that information into the message.

All data resides within the app's sandboxed container, which is protected by iOS data protection.
You can delete individual fasts from the history view. Uninstalling Ignis removes all app data from your device, including all fasting sessions, streaks, history, and preferences. This action is irreversible.

Since Ignis stores fasting data locally on your device with no account or fasting-data backend, you already have direct control over that data. Uninstall the app to exercise your right to erasure. Contact us to exercise rights related to a support submission.

Ignis does not sell your fasting data or app-local content. Ignis does not collect advertising identifiers and does not perform cross-app tracking.

Ignis is a general-audience app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Your fasting sessions, schedules, and history are not transmitted off the device.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
