I am Victor Solano.

I build apps, games, websites, tools and software, mostly because I enjoy making things people can use. TheChosenVictor is where all of it lives.

Some of it is paid at a fair price, a lot of it is free, and every page says which. Right now that is 11 iPhone apps, 8 interactive demos and games, 10 browser tools, 3 open-source packages and 6 articles.

What I make

Small iPhone apps that solve one problem well. Browser games and 3D experiments, like Aether Relay, Timeline Commander and Worldseed. Web products such as Steadglobe and this site. Free browser tools and open-source command-line packages. And for clients: iPhone apps, websites, App Review rescues, automation and code review.

How I got here

I am a U.S. Army veteran with a BS in Computer Science. The path from military service to security research, computer science and independent software shapes how I work: start with a real problem, study the details, build the complete thing and check it on the device people actually use.

  1. 2017

    Military Service

    Served as an infantryman, including an overseas assignment.

  2. 2020

    Security Researcher

    Worked with binary analysis, reverse engineering, and software security research.

  3. 2024

    BS in Computer Science

    Completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and continued into a Bachelor of Business Administration program.

  4. 2026

    Independent App Studio

    Built and launched 12 iPhone apps while publishing books, articles, and reusable developer resources through TheChosenVictor LLC.
