ReceiptCrate Privacy Policy

ReceiptCrate is operated by TheChosenVictor LLC.

ReceiptCrate helps you save receipts, purchase details, return deadlines, warranty dates, notes, and related proof-of-purchase information. This policy explains what information the app stores, what may be shared, and how third-party services may be used.

Information Stored On Your Device

ReceiptCrate may store the following information locally on your device:

• Receipt photos
• Item names
• Store names
• Purchase dates
• Purchase totals
• Return deadlines
• Warranty deadlines
• Serial numbers
• Notes
• Attachments
• Reminder settings
• App settings
• Purchase entitlement state

ReceiptCrate does not upload receipt records or receipt photos to a ReceiptCrate server by default.

OCR

ReceiptCrate may use on-device text recognition to suggest receipt details. OCR results are used to help fill fields during receipt review.

Receipt text stays on your device by default unless you choose to export, share, or include it in a support message.

Notifications

ReceiptCrate may schedule local notifications for return and warranty reminders. Notification settings are controlled by your device settings.

Ads

The free version of ReceiptCrate may show ads on dashboard, receipt list, and settings screens. Ads are served by Google AdMob.

ReceiptCrate also uses Google User Messaging Platform where required to present privacy options and consent choices.

Google AdMob may collect or process advertising-related data such as device identifiers, usage data, diagnostics, approximate location, and ad interaction data according to Google's policies and any consent choices available in your region.

ReceiptCrate does not send receipt photos, receipt text, item names, serial numbers, notes, or purchase records to Google for ad targeting.

Lifetime Pro removes ads from the app.

Purchases

ReceiptCrate offers a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google depending on the platform.

ReceiptCrate may store local entitlement information to unlock Pro features.

Exports And Sharing

You may choose to export or share your receipt records, receipt photos, or proof summaries. When you do this, the information you choose to export or share is handled by the destination you select.

Bug Reports And Support

If you report a bug or contact support, ReceiptCrate may include basic diagnostic information such as app version, platform, OS version, device model, current screen, and your written message.

Receipt photos, serial numbers, OCR text, and notes should not be included unless you explicitly attach or type them.

Data Deletion

You can delete saved items inside the app. Deleting an item should remove its local metadata, attachments, OCR records, and scheduled notifications.

You can also delete the app from your device to remove local app data, subject to platform backup behavior.

Children

ReceiptCrate is not designed for children. Do not use the app to store information about children that should remain private.

Changes

This policy may be updated as ReceiptCrate changes. The effective date will change when this page is updated.
