What happens if I forget my PIN?
VaultSnap cannot recover your PIN or encrypted photos. There is no vault cloud backup, no recovery email, and no way for us to access your data. Store your PIN securely.
How does the decoy vault work?
The decoy vault is a separate space with its own PIN. Entering the decoy PIN opens a separate empty vault without exposing your real photos or albums.
What is break-in detection?
When enabled, VaultSnap captures a front-camera photo after repeated failed PIN attempts without another in-app confirmation at that moment. iOS may show its camera-use indicator. Entries stay local for 90 days, and you can review or clear them in Settings.
How much does VaultSnap Pro cost?
The current public US release offers Lifetime Pro as a one-time $14.99 purchase. It unlocks unlimited albums and photos, decoy access, opt-in break-in detection, disguise icons, and themes. Apple shows the applicable price for your storefront before purchase.
How do I restore Lifetime Pro?
Open VaultSnap, go to Settings, and tap Restore Purchases. Eligible Lifetime Pro access associated with your Apple Account is restored through StoreKit.
Does VaultSnap upload my photos?
No. Photos are encrypted and stored entirely on your device. VaultSnap has no vault-data backend, cloud storage, or way to access your photos remotely. Its separate support endpoint receives only a support submission when you tap Send.
Does VaultSnap show ads or track me?
No. VaultSnap has no advertising or third-party tracking. There are no ad or analytics SDKs and no advertising identifiers. Apple StoreKit handles purchase status. The support form uses TheChosenVictor.com's support endpoint only when you submit it.
How do I delete all my data?
Go to Settings and tap Delete All Data. This permanently removes photos, albums, break-in records, and app settings. The master encryption key may remain in the iOS Keychain. Deleted vault data cannot be recovered.
