Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Scope Binder ("the app"), you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Scope Binder is developed and operated by TheChosenVictor LLC ("we," "us," "our"). Victor Solano owns TheChosenVictor LLC.

Description of Service

Scope Binder is an iPhone app for organizing and comparing contractor quotes by scope before signing. The app helps you create project binders, add contractors and quotes, track scope checklist items, record missing terms, schedule follow-ups, store notes and files, and export decision packet PDFs.

Core features may include project records, contractor records, quote records, line items, scope checklists, follow-up reminders, local file attachments, note and link storage, archive state, App Lock, and decision packet export.

Not Legal, Contractor, or Pricing Advice

Scope Binder is not a lawyer, legal-review service, contractor marketplace, lead generator, contractor verifier, home inspector, price estimator, or contractor recommendation engine. The app organizes information you enter. You are responsible for checking official sources, qualified professionals, licenses, permits, insurance, contracts, pricing, and contractor suitability for your situation.

Local Data and Data Loss

Scope Binder stores project data locally on your device. TheChosenVictor LLC does not operate a backend for Scope Binder project records and cannot view, restore, or recover them.

Your Scope Binder data may be permanently lost if you delete the app, lose your device, reset your device, damage your device, delete project records inside the app, or delete all data inside the app. You are responsible for understanding this local-only storage model and exporting any records you want to keep.

Attachments and Exports

Scope Binder can store app-owned copies of files you add to a project and can export decision packet PDFs. You are responsible for the files and information you choose to add, export, email, save, or share.

Do not use Scope Binder to store unlawful content or content you do not have permission to possess or share.

In-App Purchases

Scope Binder may offer a one-time Lifetime Pro purchase through Apple's App Store. Purchases are processed by Apple and subject to Apple's App Store terms.

Lifetime Pro may unlock unlimited active projects, more than two contractors per project, decision packet PDF export, and App Lock. Pricing is shown before purchase and may vary by region.

Refunds are handled by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com. Restore previous purchases through the app's restore purchase flow.

Advertising

Scope Binder does not show advertising of any kind. The app does not use advertising SDKs, consent SDKs, ad mediation, advertising identifiers, or third-party analytics SDKs.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to reverse engineer the app, use it for unlawful purposes, interfere with normal operation, extract data from sandboxed storage through unauthorized means, upload or share unlawful content, or misrepresent Scope Binder as affiliated with any contractor, government agency, licensing board, legal service, insurance company, or consumer-protection agency.

Intellectual Property

Scope Binder, including its design, code, graphics, and branding, is the intellectual property of TheChosenVictor LLC. All rights reserved.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes subject to these Terms.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Scope Binder is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, local reminders will always fire at the expected time, project data will be recoverable, exported PDFs will be accepted by any third party, or user-entered comparison records will be complete or accurate.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, TheChosenVictor LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, goodwill, project records, quote records, attachments, reminders, exported PDFs, or device information arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the app shall not exceed the amount you paid for the app, including in-app purchases, in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Apple End User License Agreement Terms

This agreement is between you and TheChosenVictor LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Scope Binder or its content. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you as a third-party beneficiary.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
