Scope Binder ("the app") is a local-first iPhone app for organizing contractor quotes, project records, follow-ups, files, notes, and decision packets before signing. No account, no ads, and no tracking. Project records stay on your device. If you choose to send a bug report, the email can include limited diagnostic information described below.
Scope Binder is developed and operated by TheChosenVictor LLC ("we," "us," "our"). Victor Solano owns TheChosenVictor LLC.
Scope Binder stores app data locally on your device using SwiftData, UserDefaults, local file storage, and local notification APIs. This may include:
This data stays inside the app's on-device storage unless you choose to share, export, email, or delete it. TheChosenVictor LLC does not operate a backend for Scope Binder project records and cannot view, recover, or edit them.
Scope Binder can schedule local reminders with Apple's UserNotifications framework. These reminders may cover follow-up questions and promised answers. Reminder scheduling happens on your device. No reminder payload is sent to a Scope Binder server.
You can disable Scope Binder notifications at any time in the app or in iOS Settings.
Scope Binder can store copies of files you add to a project, including photos, screenshots, PDFs, documents, notes, and links. Decision packet export creates a PDF summary that you can share through iOS share options.
The app does not upload these records to a Scope Binder server. If you choose to share an exported PDF, send an email, save to another app, or store a file in a cloud provider through iOS, that action is handled by the destination you choose.
Lifetime Pro purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. Scope Binder does not process payment cards or billing credentials directly. Purchase entitlement state may be stored locally so the app can unlock Pro features.
Scope Binder can use LocalAuthentication to support App Lock with Face ID, Touch ID, or device passcode where available. Biometric authentication is handled by iOS. Scope Binder does not receive or store biometric data.
Scope Binder does not use:
The app does not sell personal information and does not share project records for advertising.
The in-app Report Bug flow opens your email app with your description and the displayed app version, build number, iOS version, and device model. You choose whether to send that email. Scope Binder does not post the report directly to our website or attach project names, contractor details, files, photos, or quote records.
The App Store privacy label classifies the app, build, iOS, and device-model fields as Other Diagnostic Data, linked to you only for App Functionality and not used for tracking.
If you use the public website support form, we receive the app name, category, message, submission source, timestamp, and a one-way hash of your IP address. Your email address and device information are optional. The raw IP address is processed in memory for rate limiting and is not stored in the feedback record. Website form submissions are stored in our support database and routed through Resend to the relevant support inbox. Direct email is processed by the email providers used to deliver it.
Do not include private project details, contractor contact information, addresses, photos, PDFs, screenshots, quote attachments, or decision packets unless support specifically asks and you choose to send them.
TheChosenVictor LLC does not collect or receive through the app:
On-device Scope Binder data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app. The app includes a delete-all-data control that removes local project records and app-owned local attachment copies. Uninstalling Scope Binder removes app-local data from that device.
Because there is no Scope Binder account or project-data backend, TheChosenVictor LLC cannot restore deleted local project data.
Apple retains purchase records according to Apple's own policies.
Website form submissions remain in the support database until we delete them or you request deletion. Support emails remain in the relevant inbox until they are deleted. To request deletion, contact us from the email address associated with the submission.
Scope Binder is an organizer and comparison tool for user-entered contractor quote details. It does not connect you to contractors, verify contractors, recommend contractors, generate price estimates, review contracts, provide legal advice, or decide who you should hire.
Scope Binder is a general-audience productivity app and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the app or its support channels.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
