Hushlayer is operated by TheChosenVictor LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information is handled when you use the Hushlayer iOS app and the public Hushlayer support pages.

Summary

Hushlayer does not require an account. Saved mixes, timer settings, app preferences, and purchase entitlement state are stored on your device through Apple platform APIs.

The free version of Hushlayer may show ads through Google AdMob. Hushlayer also uses Google User Messaging Platform to show consent and privacy options where required. Hushlayer Pro removes ads through a one-time in-app purchase handled by Apple.

Information Stored On Your Device

Hushlayer stores the following locally:

• Sound mixes you create or save
• Timer preferences and selected timer durations
• App preferences needed to run the mixer
• Purchase entitlement state for Hushlayer Pro

This app does not require registration, login, or cloud sync.

Advertising, Consent, and Tracking

The free tier uses Google AdMob to display ads and Google User Messaging Platform to collect or manage consent choices where required by law. Depending on your region, Apple App Tracking Transparency choice, Google consent settings, and device settings, Google services may process:

• Device identifiers, including the advertising identifier where permitted
• Coarse location inferred from your device or network
• Product interaction and advertising interaction data
• Crash, performance, and diagnostic data

Google may use this information for third-party advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, ad measurement, and related app functionality. If Apple asks for App Tracking Transparency permission, Hushlayer only allows tracking after you authorize it in the system prompt.

You can change tracking permission in iOS Settings. In regions where Google consent controls are shown, you can also update privacy options through the consent flow presented in the app.

In-App Purchases

Hushlayer Pro is processed by Apple StoreKit. We do not receive your full payment card number or Apple ID password. Apple may provide purchase status information required to unlock Pro features and restore purchases.

Support Website and Feedback

If you use the public support page, you may choose to provide a message, email address, and device details. This information is used to respond to support requests, triage bugs, and improve the app.

If you email support directly, your email provider and our email service provider may process the message metadata and contents needed to deliver the email.

Health, Wellness, and Medical Information

Hushlayer is an ambient audio tool for sleep, focus, and relaxation. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition. Hushlayer does not collect HealthKit data, medical records, or clinical treatment information.

Children

Hushlayer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

International Users

For EEA users, Google may act as an independent data controller for the advertising data it collects through AdMob. TheChosenVictor LLC acts as the data controller for the Hushlayer app and support pages. You may contact us at [email protected] for privacy requests.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards for support communications and website data. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
