I counted 496 padded App Store finals across twelve live apps and eight new locales. Each final is an opaque RGB PNG at 1320x2868, one of the three 6.9-inch portrait sizes Apple's screenshot spec page lists today. Images with alpha are rejected. The Imagine renders I sampled started at 1024x1536. Scaling that width to 1320 makes the height 1980, so the pad script fills the remaining pixels instead of cropping the sides. That is the size check. It is not the locale check.

- Step 01
Pad to an accepted 6.9-inch size
Freeze the locale copy first. For a 1024x1536 render, scale width to 1320 and pad height to 2868. Confirm the PNG is opaque RGB. Do not treat a matching pixel size as proof the chrome is in the right language.
- Step 02
Read the chrome on the file, not the leftover list
Open every screen against the freeze. A batch leftover note is a lead. Five of the six notes I opened were already stale. The sixth, Gloam's extra Hindi chip, was still true.
- Step 03
Keep a sized set off a version that is already in review
The 2026-08-21 owner record still has all twelve live versions WAITING_FOR_REVIEW. A passing size check is not a reason to replace screenshots on that version.
