Is my journal private?
Yes. All entries are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. There are no accounts or cloud sync, and journal content is not sent to a server or used for ad targeting.
What is the Focus Shroud?
When you start typing, the Focus Shroud dims all surrounding UI to 10% opacity. Only your text remains visible, creating a distraction-free writing space.
How do daily prompts work?
Each day, Gloam presents a new reflection prompt. You can write about the prompt or ignore it and journal freely. Prompts rotate so you never see the same one twice in a row.
What is Memory Lane?
Memory Lane surfaces entries you wrote on the same day in previous months or years. It is a Pro feature that helps you see how your thoughts and moods have evolved over time.
