Is my journal private?
Yes. All entries are stored locally on your device using SwiftData. There are no accounts, no cloud sync, and no data collection. Your thoughts never leave your phone.
What is the Focus Shroud?
When you start typing, the Focus Shroud dims all surrounding UI to 10% opacity. Only your text remains visible, creating a distraction-free writing space.
How do daily prompts work?
Each day, Gloam presents a new reflection prompt. You can write about the prompt or ignore it and journal freely. Prompts rotate so you never see the same one twice in a row.
What is Memory Lane?
Memory Lane surfaces entries you wrote on the same day in previous months or years. It is a Pro feature that helps you see how your thoughts and moods have evolved over time.
